I have been privileged to live and travel all over the U.S. as well as in Europe - particularly loving the unbelievably beautiful Big Sky Mountains in Montana, to the fun of body surfing the waves of Myrtle Beach in South Carolina, to the romantic wine tours in Germany, to the breath taking Swiss Alps, to the serenity of Lake Como in Italy, and to snorkeling the crystal clear blue water of Greece. I try to capture nature’s beauty in my handmade jewelry and glass art pieces.
I have always been crafty, but the last ten+ years I have concentrated mostly on making handcrafted art jewelry. Although, most of my professional career has been spent developing software systems and network administration which is creative in a different way, my true passion is with lampworking and fused dichroic and art glass. One of the main reasons I enjoy glass art so much is that each piece is unique and beautiful!
My home studio is always buzzing with new items, as new glass and designs come to my attention. Often, the style of the pieces I create have more to do with the way the glass ends up flowing...I allow it to push me in new directions, keeping things fresh and exciting!
